1923 - 2017

It is with sadness that the family of Helen Marion Fallon, beloved wife of the late Bud Fallon, announce her passing in Lethbridge on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 93 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the church prior to the funeral service on Monday, January 30, 2017 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.

The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Left behind to remember and celebrate her life are her children Linda (Henry) Derksen of Strathmore, Bill Fallon of Raymond, Anita (Dick) deVries of Enchant, Allyson (Lance) Morris of Medicine Hat, Phyllis (John) Andres of lethbridge, Cindee (Hanley) Volden of Edmonton, Alan Fallon of Bow Island, Kelly (Mike) Shepard of Medicine Hat and Jan Fallon of Taber; eighteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her brothers Floyd Pickett, Meryl (Flo) Pickett, Don (Doroty) Pickett, Delbert (Delores) Pickett as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband Bud, sons Rod Fallon and Willy Fallon, daughter Jerrie Fallon, granddaughter Alex Fallon, parents Fred and Olga Pickett; sisters Rose Petersen and Hazel Pickett.

Helen and Bud lived and raised their family on a farm just north of Taber, where she resided until 2014. Helen was an avid green thumb gardener and an artistic seamstress. Vegatable produce and flower bouquets from her garden; quilts and dresses from her sewing machine were enjoyed by many family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Good Samaritans Park Meadows Village in Lethbridge for their care, compassion and love while Helen resided there.
