Ida Kimber

1928 - 2023

Ida Beatrice Kimber, beloved wife of the late Harry Kimber, passed away in Taber on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the age of 95 years.

The Burial Service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery (travel north of Vauxhall on Highway 36 almost seven kilometers, then head east on Township Road 140 just over one kilometer) on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. A reception followed at Luigi's Restaurant, 5036 - 46 Avenue, Taber. 

Ida is survived by her seven children Gail Lamond of Vauxhall, Jacqueline (Art) Thiessen of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Glenna ( Pete) Pepneck of Vauxhall, Tom (Linda) Kimber of Snowflake, Manitoba, Marilyn (Walter) Unruh of Hays, Larry (Mieko) Kimber of Fukuoka, Japan and Phyllis (Trevor) Kiriaka of Tappen, British Columbia; twenty one grandchildren and forty three great grandchildren She is also survived by her sisters Edna, Lorene and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry Kimber, parents Peter and Maria Bergen, sisters Verna, Esther and Louise,brother Melvin and son-in-law Jim Lamond.
