1912 - 2001

Amelia Ellen Potts of Taber, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2001 at the age of 89 years.
Amelia was born on January 26, 1912 at Hemworth, Yorks, England. She moved to Canada with her family when she was 9 years old. She grew up in Taber and for many years Amelia was the custodian at the Bank of Montreal. She also helped her father with the janitorial duties at the Third Ward Chapel, and later ran a day care centre in her home.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth (James) Potts and by several nieces and nephews and their families. Amelia was predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Potts; brothers Charles, James and Ernest Potts and sisters Lucy Sanderson and Esther Sanderson.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family in the Relief Society Room of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5314 - 54 Street, Taber on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 from 1:00 P.M. to 1:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service followed at 2:00 P.M. Burial follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
