Henrietta Kress

1926 - 2019

 Henrietta Kress (nee Matt), beloved wife of the late Leo Kress, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 93 years.

  Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 7:00 P.M.

 The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden. 

 Henrietta is survived by her children Jerome Kress of Vulcan, Marcel (Irene) Kress of Taber, Georgette (Jerry) Sauvé of Taber, Bill (Janell) Kress of Coaldale and Steve (Wilma) Kress of Taber; daughter-in-law Pat Derksen of Taber; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 She was predeceased by her husband Leo; sons Chris Kress and Samuel Kress; parents Cosmas and Georgina Matt; sister Loretta Glas and brother-in-law Pius Glas.
