Mary married the love of her life in 1947. Together they raised four children on the family farm.  Mary loved the outdoors and took great pride in keeping her yard beautiful. When Mary wasn't in the yard, she was tending to her animals, chickens being her favorite.

Later in life, Mary and Eddie enjoyed bus tours, followed by winters in the United States with relatives and friends. She remained on the farm until she was eighty nine and then moved to the lodge in Bow Island.

Mary loved to do plastic canvas and enjoyed many craft sales. Music was mom's greatest gift. Where there was music, Mary could always be found.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Pleasant view Lodge, Bow Island and Good Samaritans, Medicine Hat for the excellent care Mary received.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Mary's name may be made directly to the Pleasant View Lodge, Bag 6700, Bow Island, Alberta T0K 0G0.
