Jean Jensen

1946 - 2016

On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, our pillar of strength, woman of grace and beauty that radiated from the inside out, gave herself permission to let go. She never claimed to be strong, but proved throughout her life how much fight she possessed.

Mom will forever be missed by her daughters and grandchildren, Laura Jensen of Lethbridge and family Jordan (Ashley), Brandt (Stephanie) and Adam; Veronica (Michael) Unser of Taber and family Joanna, Matthew, Sarah (Shawn) and Shaniah; Kandi Journoud of Taber and family Lynden, Brett and Kristen; as well as her great grandchildren Saadie, Othman and Jared. She will also be remembered by her siblings Keith (Collett) Conquergood, Sandra (Wayne) McAlpine and Janet (Ray) Fels; in-laws Annette (Jake) Hendricks, Jerry (Margie) Jensen, Monte Jensen and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Jensen and numerous relatives.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 12, 2016 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

A sincere thank you to Dr. Wade Steed, Dr. Hughes and the Taber nursing staff for the “above and beyond” care they gave to our mom and family.
