Helen Driedger

1926 - 2017

It is with sad and heavy hearts that the family of Helen Driedger announce her passing in Taber on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 90 years.

 A private burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Monday, February 6, 2017.

 Helen is survived by her daughter Bev Baroldi of Taber and her son Galen (Janice) of Slave Lake; son Larry (Val) Driedger of Red Deer and their children Dion Driedger and Shana Driedger (Brycen Tymchatyn) and her son Kyler Skjonsberg; daughter Gloria Schuett of Brooks and her three sons Ryan (Milan) Schuett of Calgary (sons Kasin and Kiran), Ramey (Stacey) Schuett of Strathmore (daughters Haven and Hadley), Riley (Megan) Schuett of Brooks (daughters Aspen and Bryer).

 She was predeceased by her husband George in 2012 and great granddaughter Tatum Schuett in 2003.

 Helen was born on June 15, 1926 in the MacMahon area near Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She met George Driedger and they married on June 21, 1947. They moved to Taber, then to Brooks where they lived for many years. They retired in Medicine Hat, then back full circle to Taber where Helen and George spent their remaining years. Helen and George were married for sixty five years and dad was the absolute love of her life. We know he has been waiting for her with open arms since his passing.
