Besides his loving wife Louise, Larry is survived by their children Brad (Kami) Flexhaug of Chehalis, Washington and their family Shannon, Megan, Adam, Nathan and Allison; Sandi (Aaron) Payne of Taber and their family Austin, Zachary, Evan, Riley and Liam; Trevor (Jenn) Flexhaug of Lethbridge and their family Carter, Spencer, Denina and Annabelle; Lonna (Phil) Johansen of Taber and their family Emily, Ben, Josh and Sarah; Dallen (Marinda) Flexhaug of Coaldale and their family Nash and McCoy. He is also survived by his sisters Norma Richter, Shirley Flexhaug and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents Harry and Edna Flexhaug and by his grandson Tanner Flexhaug.

Larry was born in Raymond on October 28, 1947 to Harry and Edna Flexhaug, where he grew up and married his high school sweetheart Louise Anderson in 1970. Following high school, he moved to Calgary and completed his training as an accountant. After working briefly in Foremost and Taber as the assistant Town Administrator, they settled in Claresholm where he was the Town Administrator for thirty four years. This is where Larry and Louise raised their five children and designed and built several of their own homes. After they both retired, they moved to Lethbridge where they spent the next thirteen years. Recently, they relocated to Taber where they were living at the time of his passing.

Larry enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and as a young family they created many wonderful memories while camping and travelling. Spending time at Wasa Lake was always a family favourite. Once their children were grown, Larry and Louise were bitten by the travel bug and especially loved going on cruises.

Larry loved spending time with his twenty one grandchildren. He had a very gentle and loving way with them and they all adored him. Larry had a unique sense of humour that always kept his family laughing and rolling their eyes. He was an extraordinarily hard worker who could fix anything and would be there to help his family and friends at a moment's notice.

Larry was an amazing husband, father and friend. He will be loved and missed by all.
