Faye Brown

1960 - 2021

Maxine Faye Brown, beloved wife of Lance Brown, passed away in Taber on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 60 years.

The funeral service was held at Rolling Hills Community Centre, corner of 3 Street and Highway 875, Rolling Hills on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Rolling Hills Cemetery.

Faye is survived by her husband of thirty seven years, Lance, children Devin (Jen) Brown of Lethbridge and Riley (Lyndsay) Brown of Vauxhall; her beloved grandchildren Mike, Sabrina, Jackson and Harper. She is also survived by her sister Wendy (Mark) Downey; brothers Dave (Barb) Corah and Owen (Mary) Corah as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and treasured friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Audrey Corah.

Faye grew up in Edmonton and moved to Rolling Hills with her parents. She attended high school in Brooks and eventually began to work in the Tyrol alfalfa plant where she met Lance. They were married in 1984 and moved to Vauxhall. They purchased the Vauxhall Convenience store in 1992. Faye thrived as a proprietor of a small town convenience store. She loved her family and they were the joy of her life. In her later years her health limited her mobility so the quest for natural cures combined with her laptop kept her busy. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Faye’s name may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association, Box 4500, Station South, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 6K2 www.ab.lung.ca.

The family would like to thank the Vauxhall Regional Fire Department and EMS for their prompt, kind and compassionate care.
