Leonard Sawatzky

1956 - 2021

 Leonard Kenneth Sawatzky, beloved husband of Cheryl Sawatzky, passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the age of 65 years. 

 Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, November 1, 2021 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

 A private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Burial followed at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. 

 Leonard is survived by his wife Cheryl;  children  Adam (Jamie) Jahraus of Calgary and children Kristin and Chantel; Kyle (Kristyn) Jahraus of Medicine Hat and children Taron, Lyndon and Damon; Chad (Norma) Sawatzky of Raymond and children Aldiun, Cleo and Theodore; Rischel (Westin)  Hlatky of Vauxhall and children Adrian, Elise and Casey; Stacey Sawatzky of Vauxhall and children Tasha, Levi, Gracyn, Shayd and Bayne; Nadine (Dustin) Sanford of Brooks and children Nicole and Dominic; Nathan (Kelly) Sanford of Brooks and children Alex, Lucas and Hunter.

 He was predeceased by his wife Roxanne Sawatzky; son Ronald Kenneth Sawatzky parents John and Mary Sawatzky; brothers Johnny, Jake and Henry; sisters Mary, Laurie and Sherly.

 Leonard loved his children and grandchildren very much. One of his favorite things to do was sit with a cup of coffee and his drawing pad. He also loved trucking, driving all over Canada and the United States. He came back with many stories of the cool places he had visited.
