He is also survived by his mother Susanne Driedger and a very special niece, Crystal Bergen, who was just like a daughter to him. He will also be remembered by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other members of his extended family.

He was predeceased by his sons Dale Driedger, Paul Driedger and the mother of his children, Norma Jean Peters.

Pete was a jack of all trades. He was able to fix anything broken, even if it meant "rigging" things together. His pride and joy were his children, grandchildren and his '81 Dodge Ram. His dream was to restore his baby and get it back on the road and his dream is coming true, his grandson Justin has already got it running. Papa would be so proud and excited.

Pete used to play hockey in his younger years. He was a master at building things, like Judy’s grade five science fair green house; she was so proud to show off her dad's handy work. Pete was the farming king, that man had the greenest thumb for crops and the patients of a saint for those cattle... and the kids!

Pete spent endless hours helping his sons build things, fix vehicles and taught them to grow gardens. He also taught Judy how to maintain a vehicle, cook and how to pull pranks. He was her hero.

Pete was a quiet man, but he was sweet, kind, witty and although he didn't like to show it, he had a huge heart and a soft spot for his family. He will be happy to be reunited with all the loved ones waiting for him in heaven.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Pete’s name may be made directly to Pioneer Lodge - Memory Lane, 1000 Albert Street, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 7Y7 or to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 55 Diefenbaker Drive, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6J 0C2 (please mark for donations to be made directly to hospital lifts and patient comfort in the surgical unit of the hospital).
