Albert was born on April 3, 1930 in Bracken, Saskatchewan to Anton and Margaret Glas, growing up around Masefield and area. He married the love of his life Martha on October 11, 1951. In 1952 they moved to Hays where they started a homestead of grain and cattle. Albert loved farming, continuing to farm well into his eighties. He loved to fix things, if it was made out of iron, he loved to cut and weld it. Sometimes neighbors would bring machinery over to be repaired and he would drop everything to help out. Over the years, Albert sat on many boards. He was a hard working man and that was passed on to his children. Albert and Martha loved to go camping when time allowed. They always made time to go visit neighbors and friends, and loved to visit and catch up with relatives. Above all, Albert loved to see his grand kids and great grand kids.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stang, the staff at the Taber Hospital, Taber Home Care and the Clearview Lodge for the care given to Albert.
