1951 - 1998

Carole Ann Lucas of Taber, beloved wife of the late Steve Lucas, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 1998 at the age of 46 years.
Carole was born in Lethbridge on August 8, 1951, the second child of Max & Inger Tetzlaff. She was raised in Warner on the family farm where she spent many happy times with her cousins. She took her schooling in Warner, followed by nurse’s training at the Lethbridge Community College and then worked in Blairmore, Lethbridge and Taber. Carole and Steve were married in Lethbridge on May 29, 1976 and their son Jim was born on March 21, 1980. Carole will be forever missed by her family and friends.
Carole is survived by her treasured son Jim; mother Inger Tetzlaff; sister Faye (Gary) Beckman and nephews Matthew and Tyson all of Warner; grandmother Lydia Tetzlaff of Milk River, as well as several aunts and uncles and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve Lucas in 1996 and her father Max Tetzlaff in 1994.
Relatives and friends were invited to a Prayer Service at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 27, 1998 at 7:00 P.M. with Reverend John Hess of the Orthodox Church officiating.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, March 28, 1998 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller and Reverend Brian Magee officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
