BRENDA PEOPLES

1947 - 2002

Brenda Kae Peoples (nee Harding-Haggard) age 54, of High River, along with her grandson, Drayden age 4, both passed away tragically as a result of a car accident near Okotoks on Friday, April 19, 2002.
Our mother leaves behind to remember and celebrate her life, her five children Patti(Pat) Wagner, Andy Haggard, Carrie (Randy) Kendall, Darren (Penny) Haggard and Lara (Drew) Anderson; nine grandchildren Katie, Tim and Cody Wagner; Kylie and Larysa Kendall; Danyn and Jaymie Haggard; Drayden “Draydee” and Jonathan “Johnnie” Anderson; four brothers and one sister Blaine (Martha) Harding, Joan (George) Taylor, Glenn (Loyia) Harding, Dave (Gail) Harding and Keith (Kathy) Harding; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Greg Shaw.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents William (Bill) J. and Jennie V. Harding and one brother James (Jim) Harding.
Brenda was born on July 20, 1947 and raised in Taber. She always had a smile and a great sense of humor. Her greatest passion was her grandchildren. She was a very compassionate, caring and loving person, if you knew Mom you loved her - if she knew you she loved you.
A special thank-you to Dean Halstead, the paramedics, STARS, nurses, doctors, victim services and social workers at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and to all the special people too numerous to mention whom all worked so hard with our mother, Lara, Drayden and Jonathan. These words cannot even express our gratitude for the exceptional care, concern and respect shown to them and our family. Their kindness will never be forgotten.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, April 26, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again prior to the service at the church from 12:30 P.M. to 1:45 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Larry Taylor conducting. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of our mother and her grandson would be appreciated to STARS, P.O. Box 570, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 8M7 or to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, 1820 Richmond Road S.W., Calgary, Alberta T2T 5C7.
