WALLACE BELL

1928 - 2002

Wallace Bell of Bow Island passed away in Bow Island on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the age of 74 years.
Wallace was born in Edrans, Manitoba on August 23, 1928, a son of nine children born to Robert and Annie Bell. In the mid seventies he moved to Bow Island where he made his home. He was a gifted man who was extremely kind and generous and had the ability to make people laugh and smile. When Wallace made friends, they were friends for life. His family was the world to him; his spoke highly of his wife Isabel and his son Jimmy occupied a special place in his heart.
He is survived by his son Jim (Helen) Bell of Winnipeg; three grandchildren Trevor, Cory and Acksanna; his wife Isabel Bell; six sisters Marjorie (deceased), twin sister Gladys, Winnie, Doreen, Agnes and Jean; two brothers Ross and Carson and also by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 139 - 2 Avenue West, Bow Island on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment followed in the Bow Island Cemetery. To further commemorate Wallace’s life, a gathering of family and friends was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
