FRED COTTON

1910 - 1999

Frederick Cotton of Taber passed away on Saturday, August 14, 1999 at the age of 89 years.
Fred was born at Steelton, Ontario on April 28, 1910 the son of James and Alice Cotton. He served his country with the Armed Forces in World War II. When Fred returned home, he took over the family farm near Brooks. He later retired and moved to Taber.
Fred is survived by his guardian and step son Larry Rak. He is also survived by one brother Ray (Hazel) Cotton of Duchess, Alberta; three sisters Edna Castonia of Oliver, British Columbia, Lillian (Al) Crowder of Kempville, Ontario and Evelyn (Omar) Gallant of Turner Valley as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred was predeceased by a brother Gordon and a sister Mildred Dryden.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, August 18, 1999 at 3:00 P.M. A private family interment service was held.
