DAVID DUNCAN

1961 - 2001

David Duncan of Taber, passed away suddenly near Drumheller on Thursday, May 3, 2001 at the age of 40 years.
Dave will be sadly missed by his wife Michelle; son Brian (Christine Fehr and Jordan); daughter Charmaine; his parents Lloyd and Phyllis Duncan and father and mother-in-law Wells and Ruth Collier; a sister Debbie and her family Jaylene and Jared and a brother Jim. Dave is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Dave was always there to lend his hand or his knowledge. If you needed a place to stay or a shoulder to cry on, he would never turn you away. Dave’s life was his family and loved them dearly...and being a wonderful grandfather he was especially fond of his granddaughter. For over twenty years Dave was a rigger. He loved his job and this was evident because he excelled at it. Dave’s special friend was his dog “Bongo” who was with him ‘till the end. Dave will be forever remembered and kept close to the hearts of those who knew him.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, May 7, 2001 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 5205 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. and continued throughout the afternoon until 6:00 P.M.
