1912 - 1999

Stefania Kain, beloved wife of Victor Kain of Lethbridge, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 1999 at the age of 87 years.
Stefania was born June 1, 1912 at Buzet, Yugoslavia and came to Canada in 1951. She lived in Coaldale for a year and since 1952 had resided in Taber. Stefania and Victor have been residents of the Southland Nursing Home in Lethbridge since last spring.
Besides her husband Victor of Lethbridge, she is survived by her children Elio (Joan) of Lethbridge, Darko Albert (Renata) of Texas and Marino of Raymond; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters Emilia Sellati, Anna Zetto and Albina Klobas.
She was predeceased by sons Zorko and Johnny; sister Maria and brothers Antonio Vivoda and Dario Vivoda.
Relatives and friends were invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, December 29, 1999 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Jim de los Angeles Celebrant. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
