KEN CURLE

1935 - 2000

While surrounded by his family, John Kenneth Curle passed away peacefully at the Bow Island Health Centre on Monday, January 17, 2000 at the age of 64 years following a long battle with cancer.
Ken was born on April 14, 1935 at Minnedosa, Manitoba the son of Robert and Jane Curle.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty years, Freda of Bow Island; a son Wayne Curle of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; two daughters Connie (Morgan) Edlund of Burdett and Sandra (Bruce) Veronelly and their children James, Adam, Scott and Kelsey all of Brooks. He is also survived by six sisters Ruby (Frank) Godfried, Ollie McLaughlin, Pat (John) Woods, Marg (Everett) Thompson, Josephine Curle and Winnie Anderson; two brothers Jiggs (Marion) Curle and Norman (Norma) Curle as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Robert and Jane Curle; three brothers Henry, Archie and Harold Curle; two sisters Peggie Curle and Doreen Murray and a grandson Joshua Veronelly.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Bow Island, on Thursday, January 20, 2000 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Jeff Crittenden officiating. Interment followed at the Bow Island Cemetery.
