CORNELIUS WALL

1937 - 2000

Cornelius J. Wall, beloved husband of Mary Wall of Taber, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at the age of 62 years.
Cornelius was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on April 24, 1937 the son of David and Margaret Wall. He was raised in Saskatchewan and in his younger years he was a cowboy and worked on various farms and ranches. Cornelius later married Mary Wall and in 1964, along with his family,they moved to Fort Vermillion and then to the Taber area. For the past twenty three years, he has worked at the farm of Brian Collett. Cornelius enjoyed to go fishing but his main interest was woodworking. He used his skills doing handyman work around his house and did renovations for family and friends.
Cornelius will be forever remembered by his family and friends. Besides his wife Mary, he is survived by his children Ken Wall, Violet (Terry) Knudson and their children Dallas and Kelsey; David (Dara) Wall and Brad Wall. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Margaret, Abe, Frank, George and Tina.
Cornelius was predeceased by his parents and a brother Dave and a sister Anne.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, March 23, 2000 from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 24, 2000 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
