CHARLES ZSEDELY

1937 - 2000

Charles Michael Zsedely, beloved husband of Deloris zsedely of Taber, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2000 at the age of 63 years.
Charles was born in Hungary on May 19, 1937 the son of Michael and Maria Zsedely. He later came to Canada where he met and then married Deloris Peters in Lethbridge on March 18, 1967. They resided in Taber where Charles worked at the Sugar Factory for the past 30 years. He enjoyed to go fishing and tinkered with woodworking but his keen interest were his racing pigeons. Those who knew Charles will remember him for his straight forward demeanor and his “tell ‘em like it is” personality which complimented his outlook on life.
Charles will be always remembered by his wife Deloris and his son, Michael (Wendy) and their children Amanda, Jaimee, Jessie and Mikie; and his daughter Jennifer and her special friend Billy Bourke all of Taber. He is also survived by a brother, Les of Hungary as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
Relatives and friends were invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, July 6, 2000 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 7, 2000 at 10:30 A.M. with Deacon Mike Whalen officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
