Sarah “Sadie” Thiesen, beloved wife of the late David Thiesen, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, September 3, 2000 at the age of 101 years.
Sadie was born the daughter of Abram and Sarah Friessen on May 13, 1899 at Blumenfeld, Manitoba. She married David Thiesen on March 14, 1920 at Herbert, Saskatchewan. Besides her husband David, she was predeceased by four sisters Marie, Annie, Helen and Catherine; two brothers Frank and Peter and a son-in-law Rolf Teigland.
