FRANK KEMPER

1912 - 2000

Frank Kemper, beloved husband of the late Lucille Kemper, passed away in Taber on Sunday, September 24, 2000 at the age of 88 years.
Frank was born in Cranford on July 23, 1912 the son of William and Orah Kemper. He was raised in Cranford before completing technical and business school courses. He married Lucille O’Leary on October 4, 1937 and together they farmed in the Cranford area for many years before retiring to Taber in 1970. Frank was a longtime member of the Taber Lions Club and was recently awarded a life membership.
Frank is survived by a daughter Connie (Laurel) Paul of Calgary and their children Boyd and Gerald; and a son George (Deborah) of Rocky Mountain House and their children Sandra, Gordon and Douglas; four great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law Marion Kemper, Hannah Craw, Maggie Shade and Dale Shade.
Besides his wife Lucille, Frank was predeceased by an infant son Boyd; and five brothers, Ralph, Fred, Myron, Arthur and Roy.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 27, 2000 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 28, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Arij Langstraat officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
