Jeff Bronsch

1963 - 2023

Jeffrey Nolan Bronsch passed away peacefully in Calgary on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the age of 59 years after a long, strong and brave fight with multiple myeloma.

The service in celebration of Jeff’s life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5205 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday June 22, 2023 at 1:30 P.M.

Jeff is lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty one years, Joanne; daughter Carmen and son-in-law Dan Huard as well as many other family members and friends.

Jeff was born in Thompson, Manitoba on December 25, 1963. He moved to Taber in 1989 to work for Alberta Agriculture. Jeff was a hardworking get-it-done kind of guy, the self-proclaimed king of Kijiji and would never stand for a brown lawn. He loved to fish for walleye (but never pike), with his early fishing days being on the reservoirs of Southern Alberta, and his latest with his jet boat finding the hot spots on the Old Man River. Jeff could talk for hours about irrigation, and often hosted friends and family for dinners of his barbecue steak and world famous mushrooms. Jeff loved getting together at “the bin” Tuesday nights with the band and heading out on camping trips with Joanne, with some of their favourite trips being down the Washington Coast and Chinook Lake in Crowsnest Pass.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Jeff’s name may be made directly to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960 – 19 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 1W5.

Jeff’s family would like to thank his team at both the Tom Baker and Jack Ady Cancer Centers, with a special thanks to his oncologist in Lethbridge, Dr. Benke.
