Marian Vornbrock

1942 - 2023

Marian Vornbrock, passed away in Taber on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 30, 2023 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

A private burial service was held at Taber Memorial Garden on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. 

Marian is survived by her daughter Teresa (Joe) Gregus of Taber and their family Krystal (Eric) Stolk (her children Tristan, Taylor and Lexi), Brandon Gregus and Cody Sekura; son Ernie (Renae) Vornbrock of Taber and their family Lachelle (Ben) Stang (their children Elyse and Elliot), Kimberlee (Alex) Aitken (their children Parker and Blaine) Devin (Courtney) Vornbrock (their children Arthur and Vance). She is also survived by her companion Clarence Friesen and numerous members of her extended family.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold Vornbrock.

Marian was born on June 10, 1942, one of eleven children and grew up in Sunburst, Montana. She loved to crochet and made many things from doilies to baby sweaters and dresses to slippers. She loved to read, garage sale and spend time with friends. She continued to be crafty in these last few years making diamond dot pictures and painting her amazing fingernails vibrant colors. She also did many, many puzzles. She will be missed by her family and friends.
