VALENTINE PETERS

1925 - 2004

Valentine Peters of Taber, beloved wife of the late Mr. George Peters, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the age of 78 years.
Valentine was born in the Municipality of Morton, Manitoba on October 23, 1925. She married George Peters on July 9, 1955.  They resided in Manitoba until 1987, at which time they moved to Taber.  She was predeceased by her husband George on September 12, 1993.
Valentine will be sadly missed by her five children Ernest (Norma) Peters of Hays and their children Gerry, Rodger and James; Wayne (Susi) Peters of Hays and their children Jenilee (Mike Graham), Dustin, Brady, Warren, Angelica and Jazmin; Lorraine (Bob) Dykstra of Burdett and their children Darren, Steven, Joel, Sarah and Elizabeth; John (Helen) Peters of Taber and their children Brittany and Kurtis; Gary (Carolin) Peters of Taber and their children Kyle, Krystal and Bradly; two sisters Mary and Elsie (Jake); two brothers George (Lois) and Nick and a sister-in-law Nettie.  She is also survived by George's three brothers and two sisters.
Valentine was predeceased by her husband George, sister Lydia, brother Frank and George's two brothers and three sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, September 17, 2004 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. 
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ron Gartly officiating. Interment at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery.
