GEORGE ROGERS

1916 - 2003

George Charles Rogers of Lethbridge, formerly of Milk River, born on November 16, 1916, passed away suddenly and peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at the age of 86 years.
George is survived by a sister, Helen (Tony) Lippa of Milk River; a brother, Charlie (Shirley) Rogers of Nanton; sister-in-law, Terry Rogers of Calgary; guardian and nephew Roger (Cherylanne) Mueller of Lethbridge as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Florence Rogers formerly of the Milk River district; sister and former guardian Ruth (Art) Mueller; brother Fred (Emily) Rogers and brother Harold Rogers.
A Private Family Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, January 18, 2003 with Reverend Jim Lochhead of the United Church of Canada officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
