ALBERT SULLIVAN

1919 - 2003

Albert Edward Sullivan, beloved husband of Mrs. Agnes Sullivan of Taber, passed away in Taber on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at the age of 84 years.
Albert was born at Pouch Cove, Newfoundland on January 1, 1919. He received his schooling in Newfoundland and in 1939 joined the Royal Airforce where he served until 1946. On April 16, 1942 he married Agnes Uglem. In 1951 Albert and Agnes and their children came west to Taber where two years later their daughter Rose was born. Albert worked as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 53 years. This past April, Agnes and Albert celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
Besides his loving wife Agnes, he will be forever missed by his children Albert (Shirley) Sullivan of Lethbridge, Toni (Al) Luck of Grande Prairie, Mike Sullivan of Taber and Rose (Gary Pidruchny) of Calgary and one grandson Darren Luck.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Allan McCuaig officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
