ANGELINA KUNZ

1919 - 2003

Angelina Ressler Kunz, beloved wife of the late Mr. Alfred Kunz, passed away after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, September 21, 2003 at the age of 83 years.
Angelina was born to John and Elizabeth Ressler on October 25, 1919 in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. She married Alfred Kunz on January 7, 1944 at Rozenthal, Saskatchewan. They made their home in Taber until her passing. She worked side by side with Alfred in and out of their home to raise their six children. Angie was a Life Member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered many hours for the Royal Canadian Legion and the C.W.L.
She will be forever loved and missed by her children Jeannette Payne of Taber, Linda (Larry) Christensen of Taber, Melvin (Bea) Kunz of Taber, Larry Kunz of Taber, Gerry (Cindy) Kunz of Bow Island and Randy (Mary Knowles) Kunz of Taber; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother Martin (Mary) Ressler of Calgary; two special sisters-in-law Rita Ressler and Mary Ressler both of Taber and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Alfred Kunz on December 28, 1989 and also by her parents, five brothers, two sisters and numerous brothers-in-law.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 25 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
