FRIEDA BUSSE

1907 - 2003

Frieda Busse, beloved wife of the late Fred Busse passed away at the Taber Hospital on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the age of 96 years.
Frieda was born in East Germany on May 19, 1907. She married Fred Busse and in 1955 came to Canada with her husband and three children. They settled in Turin and in 1960 they bought a farm north of Vauxhall. She worked along side her husband on the farm until they retired to the Town of Vauxhall. Her retirement consisted of gardening, reading, handiwork and enjoying her life. Frieda maintained a good quality of life and lived in her own home until the time of her passing. Frieda will be remembered and cherished in the hearts of her children, Harry (Ilona) of Lethbridge, Marga Jaegli of Westlock and Christa (Tony) Van Ee of Vauxhall; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and distant relatives in Germany.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, September 29, 2003 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service was held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Taber Hospital Foundation, 4326 - 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1N9.
