MARIE EISLER

1901 - 2003

Ida Marie Eisler of Bow Island, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Bill Eisler, passed away in Camrose on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at the age of 102 years.
Marie was born at Lommel, Belgium on July 23, 1901 and came to Canada in 1919 settling in Manor, Saskatchewan. She married Bill Eisler on April 1, 1926. They resided on the farm north of Manor, retiring to Carlyle in 1959 where she resided until 1999. Bill predeceased her in 1982. She enjoyed bingo, knitting and taking flowers to her church.
Marie is survived by her two children George (Suzanne) Eisler of Wawota, Saskatchewan and Alda (Henry) Kerner of Bow Island; a sister Rosalie Lepla of Winnipeg and a sister-in-law Beatrice Vanden Boer of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Besides her husband Bill she was predeceased by her grandson Curtis Kerner.
Relatives and friends were invited for Prayers at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 1113 - 1 Street East, Bow Island on Friday, November 14, 2003 at 3:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at The Church Of Our Lady, Carlyle, Saskatchewan on Monday, November 17 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend David Banga Celebrant. Interment followed in the Manor Cemetery, Manor, Saskatchewan.
