KASMER GOLBY

1920 - 2002

Kash Golby, beloved husband of Margaret Golby, went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 15, 2002 at Taber at the age of 81 years.
He was born in Tarnapol, Poland and emigrated to Canada with his family in 1931. He married Margaret Hammond in 1948 and they farmed in the Vauxhall area for many years, moving to Vauxhall for the last three years. He loved to farm and also enjoyed hunting in the early years as well as curling and fishing. In his later years he and Margaret became avid flower gardeners and enjoyed making their farm yard a yard of beauty. His family was very important to him and he was keenly interested in all of their activities. He was a loving gentle man and a faithful member of the Evangelical Free Church. A loving husband, father and grandfather, and also a loving and caring son, he cared for both his parents in their later years. His father lived on the family farm with them until his passing in 1976.
Besides his loving wife Margaret, he will be sadly missed by his three sons Alan (Rowan) and son Luke; Dean (Linda) and children Lindsay, Jeffrey and Riley; Brent (Muriel) and children Melissa and Derek; daughter Linda (Calvin) Biem and daughters Jenny (Ray) & daughter Skyray, Cary (Stu) and Brenda (Kirk); one sister Leona and his in-laws Ruth & Vic, Bill & Olga, Ed & Amy, Muriel and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Frances Golembiosky, brothers Joe Golembiosky and John Bejgar and sister Mary Puzzi.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Vauxhall Evangelical Free Church, 504 - 3 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Thursday, April 18, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Bill Nyman officiating. Interment followed in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
