JAMES NOBLE

1935 - 2002

James “Jim” Albert Noble, beloved husband of Elaine Noble, passed away in Taber on Monday, April 15, 2002 at the age of 67 years.
Jim was born on the family farm south of Purple Springs on February 19, 1935, the son of Arthur and Mazie Noble. He attended school at Hudson and Taber and on November 8, 1957 he married Elaine Filgas. Jim farmed, worked for the M.D., did land levelling and also worked some campaigns at Roger’s Sugar Factory.
He will be remembered forever by his wife Elaine, daughter Linda (Rob) Meilicke; sons Perry (financeé Kendra and daughters Kayla and Keanna) and Scott (Lori) and their children Grace, Benjamin and Emily; a sister Mae (Dick) Hudson; sister-in-law Louise Noble; brother-in-law Jack Klassen; uncle Cliff Schonert and also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Mazie; two brothers Donald and David; three sisters Della, Doris and Phyllis and his aunt Grace.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, April 19, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.
Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
