1921 - 2006

Francis Wesley Craddock, beloved husband of Irene Craddock of Taber, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the age of 84 years.
Besides his loving wife Irene, Francis is survived by his son Len (Marilyn) of Lethbridge and their children Brant, Jeffrey (Julie), Trevor and Candice; his son Lawrence (Loretta) of Lethbridge and their children Tim and Kelly Jo; his daughter Bernadette (Dale) Weitz of Lethbridge and their children Brad (Kelly), Jamie (Deeanna) and Brent; nine great grandchildren and by his brother James of Taber.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister-in-law Marion and by an infant sister.
Francis was born at Taber December 27, 1921 and was the son of Wesley and Honoria Cradduck. He received his schooling at Bon Ayr School. He married Irene Sherburne November 23, 1946. Francis farmed for many years with both his father and his brother. Francis enjoyed singing and loved music, playing drums in several dance bands through the years. Francis has always had an avid interest in automotives and sports. He enjoyed competitive shooting and was very active in the Taber Gun Club. Francis was a real “people person”.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Elizabeth Brown of the First United Church in Lethbridge, officiating. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
