DONNA BUCKLEY

1950 - 1999

Donna Buckley, special friend of Rick Ylma, passed away peacefully in her home at Foremost on Thursday, September 9, 1999 at the age of 49 years.
Donna was born on August 12, 1950 in Carmangay, the daughter of Romona and Wes Marose. She received her schooling in Taber and later moved to Vauxhall. In 1982 she moved to Foremost where she drove school bus for many years. Donna will be remembered for her caring and giving nature as she would often adopt stray cats and dogs and provide a good home for them. For Donna, her pets were comfort and companions.
Donna will be fondly remembered by her children Twila (David Hinves) Buckley and their daughter Dora Denae of Foremost and Lynden (Rhonda) Buckley of Taber; her parents Romona (Vince Leismeister) Marose of Taber; her brothers and sisters Judy (Stan) Gustum of Lethbridge, Sandy (Reg) Klinger of Red Deer, Richard (Josephine) Marose of Fort Macleod, Gloria (Len) Gothard of Lloydminster, Philip (Karen) Marose of Red Deer, Marilyn (Karl) Currie of Taber and Gerry (Mary) Marose of Lethbridge as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Donna was predeceased by her father Weston “Wes” Marose and a brother Ken Marose.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, September 12, 1999 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Monday, September 13, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
