LISA BAKSA

1978 - 1999

Lisa Dawn Baksa, beloved mother of Allison, daughter of Pat & Ken Pauls of Taber and Rob & Carol Baksa of Evansburg and sister of Jason, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at the age of 20 years.
Lisa was born in Brooks on December 2, 1978, but spent most of her life in Taber. She started kindergarten at St. Patricks Elementary, graduating from St. Mary’s in 1997. While she was growing up she enjoyed gymnastics, figure skating, reading and baking. She was family orientated and helping to look after her younger brother and many cousins made it easy for her to be the loving, caring daughter and mother that she was. Her greatest pride and joy was her daughter, Alli, who she referred to as “my little genius”. At the time of her passing she was employed at Premiere Manufacturing and planning a wonderful life for herself and her daughter. Apart from her immediate family she will also be loved and remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends. She was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by her brother David and her Gramma Barbara Green.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, October 11, 1999 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, October 12, 1999 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Jim de los Angeles Celebrant. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
