ANNABELL CHRISTENSEN

1918 - 2006

Myrtle "Annabell" Christensen of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the age of 87 years.
Annabell was born in New Dayton on August 18, 1918 to parents Richard Blake and Myrtle Nate. She was raised in New Dayton and after the passing of her mother Mrytle she was raised by her grandparents William and Lebenna Nate.
On October 7, 1940 Bill Christensen and Annabell were married and resided on the family farm in Wrentham. Bill passed away on August 31, 1945. Annabell continued to live on the farm until November 19, 1951 when she married Eugene Christensen. They moved to Taber where she has resided until her passing.
Her greatest enjoyment was spent with her family and friends playing cards, reminiscing and enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She leaves to mourn her passing her children Ken (Judy), Larry (Linda), Janet (Allan) Wagner all of Taber and Brian (Michelle) of Lethbridge; eleven grandchildren Jody (Dennis) Bura of Evansburge, Alberta, Lynn (Kathleen) of Kennewick, Washington State, Layne (Tanya), Scott, Rhonda (Gord) Hoskins, Kim (Eden) Hammerstedt, Tasha (Kelly) Hanke and Chad Wagner all of Taber and Leland, Brant and Tory all of Lethbridge; fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1945 and husband Eugene in 1966, sister Evelyn in 2001, parents Richard in 1965 and Mrytle in 1918.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, January 20, 2006 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and also at the church prior to the funeral service on Saturday, January 21, 2006 from 9:45 A.M. to 10:40 A.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with Bishop Michael Saunders conducting. Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Annabell's name may be made directly to the charity of one's personal choosing.
