Lorraine Johnson of Taber, beloved wife of the late Gerald Johnson, passed away in Lethbridge on Thursday, May 24, 2001 at the age of 77 years.
She is survived by three daughters Geralyn (Don) Berte of Lethbridge, Trudy (Clovis) Roy of Georgetown, Ontario and Susan Johnson of Vernon, British Columbia; seven grandchildren Tracey (Ron) Dumonceau, Dan Berte, Derek Roy, Stephen (Tracey) Roy, Micheal Milligan, Gerald Milligan, Dayton Johnson; three great grandchildren Ty Gibson, Lee Gibson and Rachelle Roy; a sister Joyce (Mack) Crumley of Lethbridge; a very special friend Ted Kerkhoff of Taber; three sisters-in-law Florence Moscovich of Lethbridge, Marie (Peto) Nicas of Lethbridge and Evelyn Johnson of Calgary.
Besides her husband Gerald, Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Everett and Elizabeth Stelter of Taber.
Lorraine was born in Medicine Hat on September 7, 1923 and married Gerald Johnson in Barnwell on September 7, 1940. Gerald joined John Deere and they resided in Calgary, Vernon and Langley, British Columbia and Waterdown, Ontario. They retired to Taber in 1982.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, May 27, 2001 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, May 28, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.
