ALLAN ELL

1928 - 2007

Allan Frank Ell of Grassy Lake, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2007 at the age of 79 years.
Allan is survived by his brother Arthur (Arlene) Ell and their children Randy (Heather), Cindy (Mario Bernhardt) and Daniel.
He was predeceased by his parents Frank & Irene and nephew Gerry.
Allan was born in Medicine Hat on November 11, 1928.  In 1945, the Ell’s moved to Grassy Lake. Allan farmed with his dad until 1955, at which time he joined the Department of Agriculture. Following retirement, Allan became the Grassy Lake “caretaker”. He was involved in numerous community activities. As a result of his dedication and service, a ball diamond was named for him. Allan was a gentle, caring individual and he will be dearly missed and remembered for his love of the community and its residents.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant.  Burial to follow at the Assumption Cemetery, Grassy Lake.
