HAROLD VORNBROCK

1937 - 2014

Harold Vornbrock, beloved husband of Marian Vornbrock, passed away in Taber on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the age of 77 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides his loving wife Marian, Harold is survived by their daughter Teresa (Joe) Gregus of Taber and family Krystal (Eric) Stolk (great grandchildren Tristan, Taylor, and Lexi), Brandon Gregus and Cody Sekura; their son Ernie (Renae) Vornbrock of Taber and family Kimberlee, Lachelle, and Devin. He is also survived by his siblings Les (Marion) Vornbrock of Milk River, Brenda Simmons of Raymond, Rick Feist of Milk River and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Ben Vornbrock, mother Millie Feist and stepfather John Feist.
Harold was born March 15, 1937 and grew up in Milk River. He worked for the M.D. of Taber for thirty five years, most of that time on the road grader. Harold was involved in hockey, as a referee and later as a goal judge. He had a passion for sports, and watched many games. Harold enjoyed fishing, walking and working in his yard.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
