FRANK ELL

1923 - 2004

Mr. Frank Ell, beloved husband of Mrs. Loaine Ell of Taber, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the age of 80 years.
Frank was born at Grassy Lake, Alberta on April 13, 1923, the son of John and Frances (Klein) Ell. He was raised in Grassy Lake and received his education at Fettig school. He married Loaine Liddle on December 27, 1944 and they had three children.They moved to Bow Island where he worked with the County of 40 Mile, later becoming Superintendent and moving to Foremost. During their time in Foremost, Frank undertook multiple business ventures including Frank Ell Construction which began in 1969. Frank and Loaine then returned to Bow Island where they resided several years before buying an acreage east of Taber. They eventually moved to the Town of Taber where he worked for the MD of Taber.
Besides his loving wife Loaine, he is survived by his children Cheryl (Dave) Garner of Barnwell, Verle (Valerie) of Edson and John (Darla) of Cochrane; eight grandchildren Del, Wayne, Cara, Laura, Lisa, Brad, Kari and John; ten great grandchildren; a sister Stephana (Harold) Martin and a brother Willie (Dee) Ell.  
Frank was predeceased by a sister Kate Schatz and four brothers John C. Ell, Tom Ell, Steve Ell and Dominic in infancy.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel (5006-48 Ave.) Taber on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 7:00 P.M.  
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church (5009-48 Ave.) Taber on Saturday, February 14 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Mariusz Sztuk SDS celebrant.  A family Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
