1920 - 2007

Joyce Elizabeth Berscht (nee Levagood) of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Len Berscht, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the age of 87 years.
Joyce is survived by her children Judy (Bob) Penner of Taber and their children Tara (Len) Andrus of Whitecourt (children Randi and Shayna), Todd Penner of Taber; Wendy (Mike) Delaney of Kelowna, British Columbia and their children Erin Delaney of Kelowna (children Byrant, Madison and Dayton), Meghan (Kevin) Kolenc of Kelowna. She is also survived by a sister Mildred Toogood of Waterloo, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband Len in 2002.
Joyce was born at Didsbury on February 11, 1920 to Harry and Maude Levagood.  She received her schooling in Westcott and later in Didsbury.  Joyce married Len Berscht on July 31, 1940.  She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star and a longtime resident of Didsbury.  In 2003 she moved to Lethbridge where she has resided until the time of her passing.
Burial will take place at the Didsbury Cemetery.
The Memorial Service will be held at the Knox United Church, 1406 - 19 Avenue, Didsbury on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Nancy Nourse officiating.
