JERRALD FALLON

1924 - 2007

Jerrald Jess Fallon, beloved husband of May Fallon of Taber, passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at the age of 83 years.
Jerrald was born March 21, 1924 in Taber to parents John and Elva Fallon. In 1941, at the age of 17, he enlisted with the R.C.A. and served overseas until 1945. He married May Keeley and together they shared 62 years of marriage. They farmed in the Taber area and Jerrald was also employed at the Taber Sugar Factory for ten years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and in his free time enjoyed gardening.
Besides his loving wife May, he is survived by a son Keith (Judy) Fallon of Lethbridge and a daughter Carol (Burnell) Bennett of Taber; grandchildren Shelly (Ken) Holzli, Danna (Darcy) Ferguson, Rob (Vickie) Brown, Darren (Alison) Bennett and Daryl (Mara) Bennett and great grandchildren Lane and Lexi Holzli and Jessie and Vane Ferguson; sisters Virginia Sinclair of Taber and Pat Von Chorus of Lethbridge; brothers Lynn (Beryl) Layton of Lethbridge and Harold Layton of Taber and also a sister-in-law Helen Fallon of Taber. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elva; a brother John Fallon and sister Irene Fallon.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006-48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, September 16, 2007 between 7:00 and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 17 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Wil Stonehill officiating. Burial will follow in the Field of Honor, Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
