MARY BABRANYI

1914 - 2007

Mary Babranyi beloved wife of the late John Babranyi of Taber, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the age of 93 years.
She is survived by her son Joe (Marie) Kodie of Edmonton; grandchildren Francine Kodie, Monica Kodie and Jason (Cathy Derkach) Kodie; great grandchildren Tanner, Alexis, Kaiya, Molly, Benjamin and Lucie as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her first husband Tony Kuti, second husband John Babranyi, infant son Frank, her sisters Helen, Anna, Rezi, Katherine and by a brother William.
Mary was born January 11, 1914 in Sokolovac, Yugoslavia.  She immigrated to Canada in 1949 and settled near Taber. Mary resided on the farm until 1995 at which time she moved into Taber.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant.  Burial to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Mary’s name may be made directly to the charity of one’s personal choosing.
