1970 - 2007

Kirk Hackywicz of Taber, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the age of 36 years.
Kirk was born October 5, 1970 in Edmonton to parents Huck and Bernie Hackywicz. Following his completion of High School in Taber he worked for local farmers hauling hay. He moved to Vancouver in 1992 in the roofing business and in 2001 returned to Taber where he worked in the oilfield. He played hockey in his younger years and more recently enjoyed rollerblading. His love in life was his daughter Robyn and his world revolved around her. Kirk was saddened with the passing of his special Rotweiller dog Bart Simpson.
Kirk is survived by his beloved parents Huck and Bernie Hackywicz of Taber and his daughter Robyn Hackywicz and her mother Danielle Hart and her son Anthony Hart. He is also survived by his special Aunt and Uncle, his Godparents Garry and Margaret Hackewich and also by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Robin in 1994.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006-48 Ave., Taber on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 18 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS celebrant. Burial will follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
