VALE HECK

1927 - 2005

Mrs. Ila Vale Heck, beloved wife of Mr. Frank Heck of Foremost, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, at the Bow Island Health Centre on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at the age of 77 years.
Vale was born on September 16, 1927 in Champion to Harold and Pearl Liddle. She went to school at Morningstar School south of Grassy Lake. In her younger days she herded sheep for John and Helen Neil south of Burdett. After moving to Foremost Vale worked loyally for the Canada Postal Services and retired after seventeen years.  Vale met Frank Heck in 1944 and they were married on June 26, 1946. They enjoyed fifty eight years of married life.
Besides her loving husband Frank, she is survived by five children Linda (Charlie) Hougen of Foremost and their three children Gale (Darcy) Huisman and children Kyle, Eric and Jaiden, Mark Hougen and Tracy (Greg) Seefried and children Adam and Jenna; Faye (Ray) Taylor of Lethbridge and their two children Tara Taylor and her children Danika and Brayden and Darren Taylor (Kim); Pete (Laura) Heck of Saskatoon; Scott (Irene) Heck of Bow Island and their two children Brent and Jordan; Jackie (Darren) Wilson of Bow Island and their three children Doug, Jessi and Josh and also by a sister Loaine Ell of Taber and her family.  
Vale was predeceased by a brother-in-law Frank Ell.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 8:00 P.M.  
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Foremost Community Hall, Foremost on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 1:30 P.M. with Reverend Joe Tom Kalathilparmbil Celebrant. Interment to follow in the Foremost Cemetery.
