Joe Blackburn

1955 - 2023

Joseph Kirby Blackburn, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the age of 68 years.

Joe is mourned by his sister Susan Blackburn of Chatham, Ontario and cousins in Ontario, England and Australia.

Joe was born in Burlington, Ontario, the much-loved son of Frances née McIlwain (1977) and John Blackburn (2023). Joe went to British Columbia as a young adult and remained there for most of his life. He was in Alberta when he was diagnosed with lymphoma.

The family wishes to thank the medical community in Calgary, Lethbridge and Taber for its excellent care. We also greatly appreciate the general assistance of the staff at Clearview Lodge, Taber, during this difficult time.

Joe will be privately remembered by his family at a gathering in Ontario.
