Bruce Guminy

1956 - 2024

Alexander Bruce Guminy, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the age of 68 years.

Bruce will be privately remembered by his family.

Bruce is survived by his son Jason Guminy of Coaldale; grandchild Allison Pauls. He is also survived by his siblings Stephanie (Dennis) Kemick, Carol Guminy, John Guminy, Warren Guminy; brother-in-law Terry Schaufert; adopted brother Doug Smith and special friend Rose Vanden Brink.

He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Esther (née Weiss) Guminy; his chosen children David and Lisa Baksa; brothers David Guminy and Kenny Guminy; sister Doreen Schaufert; brother-in-law Bud Binning; sisters-in-law Liz Guminy and Edith Guminy; nephew Kevin Schaufert.

Bruce loved spending time with family, especially fishing with his son. He enjoyed smoking, Diet Pepsi, Chinese food, pizza, veal cutlets and double cheeseburgers (no onions or pickles).

The family would like to thank the staff at Linden View and the Clearview Lodge for their wonderful care.
