RON MINION

1954 - 2006

Ronald Blair Minion of Warner passed away at home on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the age of 52 years.
Ron is survived by his daughter Ronda (Scott) Brown of Lethbridge and their children Freedom & Xadyn, his son Christopher (Margee) Minion of Lethbridge, his stepson Jason (Laura) of Raymond and their children Austin & Jessie, his stepdaughter Megan (Dave) of Zealandia, SK and their children Brianna, Zachery, Dylan & Trista. He is also survived by his mother Cecilia Minion of Warner, his sister-in-law Margaret Minion of Magrath and by his good friend Jason Fast of Warner.
He was predeceased by his daughter Frieda Minion (2004), his brother Warren Minion (1995) and his father Lee Minion (1995).
Ron was born in Lethbridge October 6, 1954, the son of Lee & Cecilia Minion. He was raised on the farm near Warner. Ron received his schooling in Warner. During this time, he was actively involved in 4H. He later attended the University of Alberta and spent some time employed with the Toronto Dominion Bank in Lethbridge before he began farming. Ron was a member of the Warner Volunteer Fire Department and loved reading.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Milk River on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Mary Young of St. Paul’s United Church officiating. Interment will be held at the Warner Memorial Cemetery.
