LARRY MELANSON

1950 - 2004

Larry David Melanson, beloved husband of Norma Jean Melanson of Taber, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2004 at the age of 54 years.  
Larry was born in Taber on February 5, 1950, the son of Laurie and Florence Dumont Melanson. He married Norma Jean Phillips on September 2, 2000.  
Larry is survived by his wife Norma Jean Melanson of Taber; a daughter Tracy; step-children Dale (Julian) Driedger, Paul Driedger and Judy (Robert Hatfield) Driedger; brothers and sisters Garry (Karen) Melanson, Shirley Burns, Lorraine (Jim) Peters, Pat (Clarence) Friesen and Toni (Gary) Stevenson; 9 grandchildren and also by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Laurie Melanson, mother Florence Filgas, step-father Lloyd Filgas and a sister Rose Fairhurst.  
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel (5006-48 Ave.) Taber on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with Bishop Kendon Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
